REFORESTATION IN
Delhi
The third largest continent, North America primarily sits between the Arctic Circle and the Tropic of Cancer and boasts rich natural resources — including diverse forests, significant freshwater stores, high mineral wealth, and some of the most fertile soils on Earth. From the old-growth redwoods of California to the temperate lowlands of Québec, the region’s forests are home to many iconic plants and animals, and play an important role in supplying communities with food, water, and employment.
North America’s incredible natural wealth has made it one of the most economically developed regions in the world. With that has come significant environmental degradation in the form of historic deforestation, mining and resource extraction, growing urban sprawl, and more. Today, forests across North America are vulnerable to climate change, forest fires, insect infestations and diseases, invasive species, urbanization, and more.

Reforestation
Map
Reforestation in North America focuses on natural disaster recovery, restoration of biodiversity habitat, safeguarding ecosystem services, and more. View the reforestation map to discover areas where we have planted trees in North America!
Featured reforestation locations
Our work in North America is restoring forests in the wake of major wildfires like those in British Columbia, Canada, repairing damage caused by industry and resource extraction, and supporting endangered species like the Southern Resident Orca of the Pacific Northwest.

Canada
Canada’s vast landscapes range from boreal forests to prairies, each teeming with natural beauty and unique ecosystems. Our reforestation projects aim to protect and restore these ecosystems, ensuring that Canada’s wild spaces remain vibrant and resilient.

United States
The United States is home to diverse landscapes, from towering mountain ranges to ancient forests. By planting trees in vital states, we protect biodiversity, enhance carbon capture, and preserve the natural beauty that defines America’s wild spaces.

Mexico
Mexico’s stunning landscapes, from lush rainforests to arid deserts, are facing threats from rising population pressures. Our projects in Mexico aim to promote sustainable development, ensuring the preservation of these vital ecosystems
Plant Trees for Impact
Reforestation is one of the best ways to restore ecosystems that have been degraded or deforested. Plant trees to support reforestation work in the locations where it is needed most.
Learn More about trees
Trees are essential for our planet’s well-being. They help fight climate change, prevent soil erosion, and support wildlife. Learn more about their importance in understanding forest fires, climate change, deforestation and reforestation. Also, discover different tree species and some fascinating facts about trees!

Our work across North America focuses on restoring landscapes that sustain people, wildlife, and natural resources. From woodlands to watersheds, planting trees facilitates ecosystem recovery, climate change resilience, and habitat restoration.
